1974: “At The Storefront”, a PBS weekly program hosted by Paul Winfield on Channel 28, performed as of the Communicative Artists. “Focus”, a program on Channel 4, highlighting the Communicative Artists, Academy of Compton

1978: California State University Fullerton Symphony Orchestra records including Beethoven’s “9th Symphony”, Live at The Little Theatre.

1984: “Buffalo Bill Show” Prime time television program, starring Dabney Coleman featuring Esther Phillips.

1985: “Jojo Dancer Your Life Is Calling”, a motion picture starring Richard Pryor .:CD Michael Veerapen entitled “Pictures” on Scat Records. CD with Mark Chan entitled “Nature Boy”, released in Japan by Sound Asia, Producer Norihiko Yamanuki.

1998 RELEASE  of my cd the ”Time Is Now Sessions“ featuring Keith Loftis. Recorded in Singapore.


2013:
September 14th, 2013: The Christy Smith Quartet at the Kuala Lumpur Internatonial Jazz Festival featuring: Christy Smith (Double Bass, Electrical Bass & Vocals), Chok Kerong (Piano & Organ), Shawn Letts (Tenor Saxophone) and Eric Hargrove (Drums)

2014:
April 30th - May 2nd: Christmas CD Recording @ Sound & More Studio's, Darmstadt, Germany. With Jeremy Monteiro, Shawn Kelley & Christy Smith together with Tony Lakatos, Axel Schlosser, Wesley Gehring and Jens Bunge.


2015:
Red Roof Records: The jingle for Mediacorp's advertisement. It was harder to keep it hush when we had the best to come record the session. IT WAS A TREAT with Sebastian Ho on guitar, Don Gomes on piano, Eddie Layman on drums, Christy Smith on bass and Richard Jackson on vocals. Music written & produced by Ruth Ling.
